About

Built for parents and
players in the Triangle.

One directory. Every sport. All levels. Updated by humans, not algorithms.

I built this because the existing tools weren't cutting it. Finding a youth soccer league shouldn't take 45 minutes across six different town parks-and-rec sites. Finding an adult tennis ladder shouldn't require knowing someone who already plays.

The Triangle has hundreds of sports leagues — rec, club, travel, adult, youth, every level. They're run by different organizations with different websites, different signup windows, and different ways of describing the same thing. If you're new to the area, or your kid is trying a new sport, or you're an adult who used to play and wants to get back in, it's a mess.

So I made one place. Filter by sport, age, level, season, and city. Save what looks good. Build a season plan. Share it with whoever else is managing the family calendar — one link, not a thread of texts.

That's The Sports Planner. Free. No account. Built by someone who actually uses it.

What we cover

Triangle North Carolina, specifically: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Morrisville, Carrboro, Hillsborough, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, and Garner.

Sports: soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, flag football, swimming, running, golf, hockey, wrestling, field hockey, cycling, and more. Both youth and adult.

Why trust this?

Every league is added by hand. I read the site, check the registration link, and write the description.

Updated regularly — broken links get pulled, new programs get added.

No paid placement in main results. Rankings reflect data, not who pays.

Free for families and players. No account. No paywall.

How leagues get added

Most leagues are added from community submissions — parents, players, and league organizers email me. I verify the details, write the listing, and publish it. If you know a league that should be here and isn't, that's the path.
